Crested Butte Summer Wildflower Elopement
Crested Butte is one of my all-time favorite locations for eloping couples. There isn’t quite anything like Crested Butte, Colorado. It’s truly one of the most magical places in the world. This summer elopement got some of the best aspects CB offers: wildflowers, a turquoise blue alpine lake, mountain valleys to themselves, and privacy.
C+S decided to elope in Crested Butte because of the wildflowers, as well as amazing access to private areas where they can truly enjoy themselves without others watching.
Their ceremony was held in a field of wildflowers on the edge of a stunning alpine lake at sunset. The mountains towered around them as they spoke their personal vows to each other. With only the mountains and flowers surrounding them as their witness, they married beneath a beautiful summer evening sun. After exploring the lake, eating delicious cupcakes from Cake Me Away, and a pull from their flasks, we went to one of my favorite valley overlooks that looks over the entire Gothic valley.
This elopement was full of gorgeous mountain views, wildflowers galore, gorgeous alpine lakes, and a free-spirited loving atmosphere. It was such a special day!
