Hi! I’m Emily!
I’m an elopement photographer that’s been a part of couples’ love stories since 2018.
Breckenridge is simply one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever experienced, and I love sharing that magic with couples.
I’ve become a local expert for all things Breckenridge over the years, and can tell you just about anything you want to know about the area; from best vendors, best views, when to see the wildflowers, etc.

My approach to elopement photography is this: your experience is primary. When you are able to let go of stress, be fully present in your adventure, and truly be yourself? Those are the photos that bring every feeling and memory crashing back.

I edit my photos in a way that feels warm and bold, just like the couples in them. “Colorful Colorado” is my muse, and I’m constantly inspired by the ever changing hues of her wildflowers, alpine lakes, and sunsets.
“From the first moment I reached out to Emily to inquire about her shooting our elopement, she was so responsive and enthusiastic. I could tell from the get go that she wanted to know what OUR vision was for our day was and do everything that she could to help that vision come to life. My husband and I don’t live in Colorado, and it was important for us to find a photographer that not only would capture our day beautifully but could also help us plan our day- Emily did all of that and more. From the first video call I had with Emily I could tell she was the perfect photographer for us. She was already excited for us and our elopement, and I knew she was going to be a positive and calming presence for our day. Throughout planning, she was always willing to answer questions not only about our elopement day but about our trip as a whole. Her support and enthusiasm was a big factor in keeping our elopement stress free.
Once we got to the actual elopement day, Emily was truly the greatest. She made sure we had everything we needed for our day, which included a hike. She guided us on the hike, and brought us to a perfect alpine lake location that was even more perfect than we had imagined. It truly felt like we were spending the day with a friend, which helped my husband and I to stay relaxed and be able to truly soak the day in. During our ceremony and pictures, Emily did the perfect combination of candid shots as well as prompted shots- but even the shots that were “posed” felt completely natural. If you are someone who feels awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera- Emily is your girl.
And, finally, THE PICTURES. We truly could not have asked for more beautiful pictures. Emily captured us wonderfully and you can feel the love and joy of the day in every photo that she took. These are photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Best. Decision. Ever. Emily made our day perfect! My husband and I booked a 12 hour elopement with Emily and we are SO glad we did. Our elopement day was 100% stress free - no rushing, no anxiety. We were able to capture photos of our day from start to finish: making breakfast with friends & family, a cute little session with our dog, first looks, multiple photo locations, vow exchange, reception, and even some fun pics in the hot tub at our Airbnb!! Tips on Eloping
in Breckenridge
As a local expert, here’s some quick tips if you’re thinking about eloping in Breckenridge…
✶ SUMMER IS BEST ✶
Truly, Crested Butte is a different world in a league of it’s own during the summer. As the wildflower capitol of Colorado, summer is when the flowers bloom by the millions. The last week of June through the first week of August are the best times to experience the wildflowers, and see Crested Butte in all it’s glory.
✶ WEEKDAYS ARE YOUR FRIEND ✶
As tempting as it sounds to elope during the weekend, avoid it like the plague. Week days will give you the best chance of having a private, intimate setting for your adventure.
✶ BOOK ALL-DAY PHOTO COVERAGE ✶
Trust me, you’ll need it! There are simply too many beautiful locations you’ll want to see in a day, and they all require a drive. All day coverage will ensure you have the time to do all the exploring you want to do!
✶ MAKE SURE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS AN EXPERT IN YOUR AREA (NUDGE NUDGE) ✶
Get a photographer that is an expert in the area, knows the best locations that may not be public knowledge, and knows about the area inside and out.
